    cover.jpg In this tutorial, I do a complete walkthrough with you of a typical portrait editing session! The purpose of this is to show you exactly how I think through and edit a portrait. You will be provided the same RAW file to practice along with me as well as a Lightroom preset to help get you started! My goal is to teach you the principles of my personal editing workflow which will help you when you go to edit your own photos! If you are a complete beginner and have never even opened up Lightroom or Photoshop, DON'T WORRY, you can follow along as well as I explain every step of what I'm doing! If you're more advanced in these programs, you will still benefit from this as you will gain deep insights into my personal style of editing! This tutorial was made with all levels of expertise in mind! I hope this offers you a new perspective on portrait editing and that you are able to practice more effectively now when you edit your own photos!

    - How to use highlights and shadows to sculpt and accent the natural beauty of the face
    - How and when to use blending modes to tone skin, add color contrast, sharpen an image, accent colors, and add highlights and shadows

    - How to use hidden shortcuts to make your workflow go much quicker
    - How to add a high quality sharpen to your images so that they look amazing on Instagram!

    I cant. The file is and I cant extracted (msporttut.zip.001) . I need other program different from Winrar?

    Guys, I have extracted all of the zip.001 files. However, as I played up the tutorial it just got corrupted. I'm haven't been started yet.

    Hi @vrdude or @alex111 and @profoto do you have a copy that you would like to share. I tried using 7-zip, winrar, winzip and all of them are in the latest version. However, all of them didn't make it through the file itself which the main tutorial of this module or the mp4 itself is corrupted. Is there any possibility or away without zipping the file by transferring directly to mega.nz. Thanks, looking forward to it. Regards.

    I can upload it on the condition that you miror it on a MEGA account (I'm running out of space on mine).
    All you have to do is create a MEGA account (if you don't have one), copy the files to your account and post the link here.

    Thanks, @Jack Smith.

    Just make sure the files are not segmented. Such as zip.001, zip.002, zip.003... and making this won't do any help and all of our hardship will lead to nothing.

    And hoping it will be a lesson to all of us in here, segmenting the file wouldn't do any help. It will only slow down the process of sharing.
    Let's emphasis this for big files for example:
    Mark Singerman - PortraitTutorial_001_02.mp4 - w/ 2.6 GB size > never segment the file to zip/rar it, leave as it is. Because it will only get corrupted.

    That's why mega.nz is already here making all easy way out, it's a drag and drop. Again, thank you so much for your gestures of yours. Woot, woot!

    Man, don't push it if the files keep on crashing we're just wasting time. We need to know who has the main source file before it was being chopped out into segmented files. If @profoto does it on making the zip, we need to help him out getting the original source file. Damn, I hate that when it happens. It was CHOPPED out, hahaha! But somehow, we need to resolve this bad file handling, it's not us. I know we're good at this. Nothing to worry, we will find a solution on this hand-in-hand.

    Hi Jack, just to let you know that I have downloaded all the 3 links from original post : the thing to know is that only the first link works (all the files are in it) and it un-zipped well on Mac. The other 2 links are dead and useless (unless someone put something bad in these to be a pain for our computers, but so far everything seems to work fine).
    So you probably do not need to keep your link opened if you are lacking space on Mega : use it to share more great stuffs for example ! ;)
