I'm looking for any tutorial (i should say quality tutorial) on how to shoot this hard crisp-line shadow style, pop art type photography. Sites below showcase exactly what I am trying to recreate. I can't figure just yet how the lights are setup. These must be powerful strobes set far away to recreate the sun as a small source or perhaps the insanely expensive parabolic reflectors. I've looked for tutorials about this but haven't found anything. Has anyone come across a similar tutorial?

It's not only the power of the light but the relative size. as Robert mentioned, a speedlight doesn't need to be set too far to create the the hard shadows (although you'll be limited to how much of the scene is lit). Most likely the photos were lit with a hard reflector (such as a magnum) and a decent sized flash.

Look at Rob Grimm's stuff with RGGEDU and also Tin House Studio on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry7C69uaeZQ)

In the absence of a Profoto Hard Box, we just take the domes off our flash heads.
