Hello Everyone! I'm Luca — A Storyteller with a Lens

Hey fellow creators!

My name is Luca Marten, I’m 29, originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and I recently relocated to Berlin, Germany to chase light, stories, and new creative challenges.

I’ve been a freelance videographer and cinematographer for about 6 years now, working mainly in the world of music videos, short docs, and branded content. I shoot mostly on my Sony FX3 (although I still sneak out with my old A7III when I travel light), and recently started experimenting with vintage glass and anamorphic adapters to push the look and feel of my visuals.

What drives me isn’t just gear — it’s emotion. My goal is to make images that feel like memory: textured, imperfect, and cinematic.

I stumbled upon P-V Club through a fellow filmmaker I met at a shoot in Warsaw. He told me it was the best-kept secret online for anyone obsessed with visuals — and he wasn’t wrong. After lurking for a bit, I decided it’s time to join and give back to the community too.

Looking forward to sharing some of the LUTs I’ve made, discovering new tools, and maybe even organizing a Group Buy at some point. If you ever need feedback on a reel or just want to talk about lens flares and light leaks, I’m your guy.
