Hello from Copenhagen, Denmark! I've been picking up a camera on and off since I was 13—now I'm 30 and still loving it, even if I consider myself more of a passionate amateur than a pro. I'm currently shooting with a Sony Alpha 7R III and really hoping to get more use out of it this year. I absolutely love capturing images—it's the editing and sharing part where I tend to stumble. Strangely enough, I’m actually decent at editing, but the idea of sitting down for hours to go through hundreds of photos can feel so overwhelming that I often don’t even start. That ends up in me not sharing much, and then me putting down my camera… until the cycle restarts and I fall in love with photography all over again. That said, I'm super open to hearing how others get over this mental block—any tips or tricks are more than welcome! For me, photography is such a meditative, zen-like experience. It grounds me in the present, makes me really see my surroundings, and helps me appreciate fleeting moments I’d otherwise miss. There’s something magical about freezing time in a frame. Looking forward to connecting and learning from you all!
