how to achieve this kind of colors in pictures

    Ive tried to edit in photoshop but cant seem to get it right. Any tips that I can try?

    in my opinion whites need to go wayyy down, the left side of the image is blown out so you'd have to compensate. Id start with adjusting the levels, also you'd have to give your image a warmer look. Hugo seems to use a warmer temperature. with hint of magenta visible on the skin tones. make your reds a hint more red orangish. the shadows are a bit dark as well in his image but it looks like you have that under control. also I'd say it was shot on film because I see coarse grain
