Hello my friends, I want to ask you, how to color grading like theses images ? Or wich presets i can use to obtain this brown/chocolate color tone ? Thank you!
@Fuzetea You can copy the tones from this image and apply on yours. Please post these in appropriate forum. https://p-v.club/threads/nbp-colourmapx-v1-5.17320/#post-83668 @vrdude Please move this post...
Thank you, but the application that you advised me is not suitable for what I am looking for a tutorial or presets.
Take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IY2UjDgqfAM Maybe here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuAum4b2XJM Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xdpXxJ0vek This one is an overal brown tone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG1xnK6WQcM and so on...
First ensure you have the right gear for the shoot. 50mm or 85mm f1.8, f1.4 for tutorials check out https://p-v.club/threads/rggedu-nat...e-retouching-with-dani-diamond.94/#post-20210 For the skin you need to learn how to correct skin color by using numbers (Skin Codes) to achieve pleasing skin tones you can find the tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wvr8LCSuFjE&t=31s Presets don't work on every image. Most often they just don't work. [edited. do not hide internal/public links]
I would play around with a gradient map in Photoshop. The shadows should be a dark brown and the highlight a very light yellow. depending on how you want the midtones, you can add points (such as a dark orange, etc. Start with setting the blending mode to 'soft light' and use the percentage to dial it in. Looking at the photos, there's also been a lot of burning and dodging and skin smoothing, so the colour grade is going to look slightly different if you don't also do that to your image. i would try to emulate and not imitate. hope that helps a bit.
Thank you very much Kount, I had saved the video of Fanji Lanang's tutorial on my computer and I tried to recreate a preset following its indications, the result is good and is a bit close to what I am looking for. I'm going to watch your other videos and learn these techniques.
In fact I don't want to treat the skin exactly like it. What I like about these images is the Color Grading, moody chocolate brown, that's what I want to achieve. Otherwise the Dodge & Burn and the skin treatment I know how to do it! I will try to do as you explained. Thank you
One more thing before you even consider color grading, calibrate your pc or mac screen for color accuracy. A lot of "new age" Photographers discard epic images all because they could not see them properly that"s it really
for this type grading reduce saturation of green, orange, yellow also reduce luminance. I attaching a preset just like this, try it https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uq3wY8S9mmqjqtC0okixiSXUAaWXQFJo?usp=sharing
