You won't get any significant growth without investing money. Organic growth is just a myth, propelled by instagram influencers. Basically all larger instagram accounts participate in pods and they buy followers and likes.It's a rigged game and unless you are a sexy girl willing to show a shitload of naked skin (and even that doesn't guarantee you anything) you don't stand much chance.
Find your value proposition, help people and you will grow (problem is that it takes effort), good luck!
@tribal haha ..... I thought it will grow over time and never actually thought to buy followers. There are other factors but it might be the easy way.
@born2day Old instagram had growth potential but new Instagram with its new polices/algorith is making it hard.
i don't know it is still a "social" media after all i think your are being too tight still its very true that its way more easier to grow spending the right amount
There are several factors to consider. Try to write answers to these questions. Why do you need more followers, what is your goal ? Do you want to be an influencer ? Do you plan to sell your services ? Do you plan to sell education, digital goods or something else ? Why should anyone give you a follow ? Are your images different in any way ? Do you share visualy strong images ? How do you compare quality of your images to other accounts with more followers ? Is your instagram feed consistent, nice looking, engaging ? It's work, you have to put a lot of time and energy into it. Mostly, you have to work on your content and try to engage your audience, use right hashtags, share your working process in stories, post behind the scenes etc. Haven't seen your feed so I can't give you more specific advice. followers: 9525 posts: 87

I would suggest to research business with similar services and good Instagram presence. How they communicate on Instagram, how often they communicate, what content are they sharing, what is the quality of the content. Make detailed notes about their behaviour and you will get very clear image what is needed to match their results. Then you could make a list of all things you need to do, and start one by one. It could be a long list, but you can't build your identity on Instagram in a day. You have to build your presence as a brand, so your clients would know what to expect. If you know your clients, and you already have good quality content, for example portfolio with business portraits, you could invest in a good advertisement. Don't cheap out on the Ads. Create a good professional video, behind the scenes, whatever. This could be full day workshop, so I would recommend to check out Sue Bryce or many other photographers who give advice about online sales.
yup, share your knowledge and people will follow. TheFutur also covered this in a youtube video (how to get 10k followers on insta or something like that). Make comments on other people's posts, be active, don't just post pictures and hope for the best. And ofc, ads..
Is there anybody startet a IG Account in 2017 and got more than 1000 natural Followers? I tried to post quite often good Landscape Photos, but the growth never happened - stopped by 950+ Then i tried to comment and like by myself 100 Posts every day and got in 1 Week 200 extra Followers. I kept doing this and then the update ruined even this and block me. And by the time it is not worthy doing this..takes a lot of your time you can do better things. Later i started my first Portrait Account and boom, this account gets more natural Followers and interactions. I think the landscape,travel genre is over saturated. But if you start a Portrait Page for your Town, then you will grow more naturally.
It is a way but for sure not the best - takes too much time. The best is, like they said, paying IG for advert.
You could spend a lot of money on adverts, but if you have weak and inconsistent content, it wil not matter much at the end. Adverts are good if you want to make sales, and you don't care about following. The fastest way to gain followers is still being shared by big accounts, 200k+. For example if you shoot portraits, and some big portrait photography account will share your post, you are being seen by a very small and specific target group. There is no way you will be able to hit the same target group by using adverts. OK, to be fair maybe if you spend 100$+ in one day on adverts and it's catchy content.
