    The human figure has been one of the most popular subjects for the creative visual arts since the beginning of recorded art history. Capturing the nude human figure on film presents a special challenge for the photographer, both amateur and pro alike. The photographer must blend technical skill with creative insight to achieve images which portray the human body as an object of artistic expression. Careful selection and training of the subject, proper lighting and equipment, the use of makeup and props and choosing appropriate settings are just a few of the essential ingredients that must be mastered to produce a successful nude study.
