Please understand I am grateful for your share, but unless there is some trick you (or someone) can let me know, I really am wary of downloads of apps from misc. sites. Thanks...

 

That's funny cause I don't get that problem. I tried the link both when I'm signed into my ZeroUpload account and when I'm signed out of it, and there is no problem for me.

 

Thanks Jupiter, I also do not see any advertisements or porn stuff. Have to admit Browser has some advertisement plugins in it or Nord VPN has some Ad Tracker protection also included.

This has to be the most annoying dl I have seen in years. So far I got porn, several fake files to download containing some kind of setup files, which spoofes the dl name of the right files, several different advertising sites, signup sites and popups with fake files and ads on every folder and every file there - and I still have 3 more folders to download.

Reminds me of how things was back in the late 90's... I got no adblocking on chrome.

 

Ok, so it appears that the blue download button takes me to this page every time for the first click for every item in the download. I close out that tab ( since it is spoofing the real download link ) and the second click on the blue download link works and downloads fine. At least it appears to. I downloaded the pdf file to test and it unzipped into the correct pdf file.

 

I find it confusing what others see. So this hoster seems to be really wanting to trick you. With a number of add blockers in place I see a clean interface


And the blue download button appears after 3-4sec
Hitting download I get my Internet Download Manager window opened up and can download.


Downloading the first rar set, all good, no exe.

 

bbrooks is right. When you first click the blue download button, you will be taken to a screen that shows another download button. IGNORE THIS SCREEN!!!! You want to close that page and go back to the first blue download button. Click the blue button again and then the correct file will download. This is a trick the site uses to trap people into installing junk software.

 

And If you have a good ad blocker program running in the background, that fake spoof page that first appears after you click the blue download button will automatically get blocked for you. You won't even see it. This is what happens when mr.c clicks the blue button. His ad-blocker aborts the fake download page so he doesn't need to close it out and re-push the blue button.

So the solution depends on what happens right after you click the blue download button. The good news is there is an easy solution, so nobody should miss out on the goodies. You don't need to have an ad-blocker program to make this work. You simply need to recognize the fake popup pages when they appear. Just close them. And NEVER open any "exe" or "install" files!

 

Hi. If convenient, please share a mega or similar link. I followed the above instructions, but the download does not work.

 

Here the popups and the the other pages came both while clicking on the folders and also when clicking on the file to download as well - some with advertising several things and businesses, others with fake files and others again with porn.

Tested on chrome and Firefox with same result.

Got it down now, but was annoying.

 

I'm seeing the same as @mr.c above - but there are peeps that have asked me to please provide other hosting sites for files I've UL to this same host - so it's kinda a problem (potential) for them. Def need a good ad-block . . .

 

Not possible. It's 70GB, so need to use a cloud storage that offers free and unlimited space. ZeroUpload is the only one that I know of that's both free and unlimited.

 

If it's of any help to anyone - I'm DL-ing on WinDoze using Firefox; UBlock Origin plug-in and on VPN (Nord) - No issues downloading
