John Weatherby - Landscape Pro Online Course

A couple weeks ago, I drove almost two hours to get to a waterfall I'd seen on a photo site. Having never been there before, I took a few lenses and my tripod. When I found it I had to hike down into a very steep depression, on the worst trail I've ever seen. When I got to the falls, there was only room for a few people to get a clear shot, so I waited. After about twenty minutes, everyone had gone except a couple in their twenties. I don't know how many pictures he took, but between that and the two of them reviewing and discussing every shot, they stood in my way for another half hour until another group of people showed up to also get in my way. I finally left. He didn't break any rules.

 

I've done that lots of times, but not possible in this case. Anyway, that wasn't the point of the story.
