    Retouching jewelry is complicated?
    The complexity of jewelry retouching depends on the original photo. Much depends on the polishing of the metal, the purity of the stone. Jewelry that were prepared before photographing, have the correct lines, highlights, reflexes and beautiful glare of stones. The photographer should highlight highlights and reflexes. Compliance with all recommendations will greatly facilitate the work, but in practice no one follows these rules. It is difficult for a jewelry retoucher to work with such photos.     +1 Nice outsourcing on this tutorial @renemonsalve , we badly needed this! Because we need source materials to practice on, esp. on any kind of materials, metals and gems. Thanks to you.

    I'm kind of excited right now, I do bet it will be on GB for sure. I could wait for months, just to learn and have a new skill on my sleeves.

    I'm dealing with a huge collection of handmade 'cera persa' jewels now. Very organic and analog. And pearls. Different light for every material.
