Thanks @Arina for answering my request. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow. I have 22h to go at 12kbs. A bit slow, but I certainly have no right to complain. If it does not quit, it should be okay. The language was bit of a barrier, and it took some guesswork, but as I type, I am up to 12mb.
Update, Failure no. 1 at 29mb of 1GB (not resumable, I tried)....
Trying again.
Update No.2, Failure no. 2 at 23mb about 20 minutes later. Not resumable.
I am going to give up. Still thank you for trying. Maybe it is just my connection. If you or someone offers this from another host. Let me know.

Thanks for the advice @diodado, but I did not give up, I tried switching to various VPN servers on my service and hit the jackpot in Bulgaria. Successful in 20 minutes though I have to admit, I was holding my breath when the speeds dived halfway through... Also de-rar'd as well.
