These aren't your average presets... These high-quality presets have been perfected over the last 6 years and used on all my own images. The pack includes a total of 36 base presets, along with an additional 21 targeted "tools" to further customize your edit selectively... all within Lightroom. Transform your photography and take your images to the next level with ease. List of Presets Cali Vibes – Probably my most used preset. Perfect for landscapes and cityscapes, especially those shot during golden hour. Does a great job of giving a nice dreamy feel with rich oranges and blues that don’t go overboard. I Shoot Film – This is the preset to use when you’re keeping it classic and timeless. Meant to emulate film stock, I Shoot Film can be best used when paired with lifestyle, daytime, and landscape images. Not every shot needs to be a certified banger, but you can create a timeless look for moments that matter and clients work alike. Mad Eyed Skies – Back by popular demand, this re-imagining of my most popular preset from my 2018 Preset back can best be described as Cali Vibes' older brother... for when you’re looking for that extra oomph. Mustache & Flannel – Great from portraits to waterfalls, and everything in between. The greens are lush, yet subtle. So much so, that you’ll want to cozy up by the fire and snuggle with photos edited with this one. Stay Classy – Named after my hometown of San Diego, this preset is all about those deep blues. Daytime bangers, ocean roads, and even night photography can all benefit from staying classy with this one. Straight Fire – Just as the name sounds, this preset is lit. With deep and rich oranges that almost catch fire, this one is especially great for city shots, direct sunlight, and drone photos. The PNW – Perfect for those PNW vibes with moody greens and muted tones. Waterfalls love this one just as much as you will. New for 2023 *** Brand Werk - My new go-to preset for brand and lifestyle work Dancin’ in the Moonlight - A heavily stylized preset that turns day photos into night (use sparingly) Daytime Ale - Nothin’ beats a nice cold Ale on a warm summer day. Keep It Simple - A much more subtle edit that works best in those moments on the edge of golden hour or when you’re not going for a super heavy edit. I’ve found myself using this preset more and more. Overcast - As much as we’d love to have beautiful golden colors all the time, the truth is, some days are yucky and overcast. This preset will help you deal with those muted blues with a less intense edit. The Lightroom Toolbelt The Lightroom Tool Belt – 21 one-click adjustments to customize your edit even further to your liking. Shape light, adjust tones, reduce unwanted noise, and put on the finishing touches to edit your photo like a pro. The Lightroom Tool Belt will help you stand out from the rest. If the coloring looks off or weird, you may need to adjust the White Balance in the dropdown to “auto,” use the eyedropper to select a white point, or adjust the temperature and tint adjustments manually. Presets always work better on images that are shot in “RAW”. A JPG is a compressed image, so you won’t get all the color and detail from a JPG like a “RAW” image. ----------- *** Note that Kyle is fibbing to his audience a bit here ;-) - These are NOT new for 2023. The 2022 pack is the exact same one as the 2023 pack. I just add this as a note to explain why the source files linked below (as purchased) are labeled with 2022. @white871 I don't, sorry! I did see that in the requests thread, but I don't much like Kyle Meshna, so I've never purchased that course.
@paum87 Oh, to be clear, I don't know the guy personally. I think what originally turned me off was his attitude to people he interacts with on social media. But ultimately, I just don't think he's very skilled as a photographer or accurate as an "influencer/educator". He's mostly focused on regurgitating stuff other people have said and getting those clicks I do think he's skilled at getting attention - I'm sure his time working at Google had something to do with this - but his "photography" mostly comes down to slamming sliders around in lightroom and sky replacements lol.
@white871 What genre? I'm much more heavily biased toward landscape and outdoor adventure photography, so my preferences may not be your cup of tea.
@white871 - in no particular order, and definitely not comprehensive (just what I've remembered off the top of my head): Michael Shainblum Marc Adamus Alex Noriega Ted Gore Nick Page Mads Peter Iverson Most of the Photo-Cascadia crew (Chip Phillips, Erin Babnik, Sean Bagshaw, Zack Schnepf, for example) Adam Gibbs Nick Page Nigel Danson Ryan Dyar Mark Metternich Eric Bennett Autumn Schrock Rachel Jones Ross William Patino Thomas Heaton ...to name just a few
Sure thing! Though there was no new version for 2023 - that was just Meshna's marketing. They were updated in 2022 and haven't changed since.
