Hey there! Have you ever wished there was a book all about graphic designing that was fun to read and yet informative at the same time? Well, good news! There is such a book. It's called "Learn to Create in Photoshop", and you're looking at it!
Here's a quick no-brainer before this write up gets too serious: in this book we'll be learning all about graphic designing in Adobe Photoshop. Who would've guessed? And as we go along, we'll be putting our newly learned skills and techniques to the test by creating something really cool from scratch. We'll literally start with nothing but a blank canvas and turn it into... well, you'll have to take a look inside the book if you want to know exactly what we're going to create. Yeah. I'm pretending that the book's cover isn't giving away most of it already. But there's more to it. Take a look.
Now, just in case you are about as familiar with Photoshop as you are with the dark side of the moon, this book starts with a chapter introducing all the basics - just like any good Photoshop book should. After that, it's a deep dive into the wonderful world of shapes, filters, brushes, type, tools, and techniques where creativity is king. By the end of this book, you should be able to confidently create just about anything you want in Photoshop (double-cheese pizzas not included, at least not the kind that you can actually eat).
But before we get reading, here's a quick note to all you CS5 and CS6 users. I've made sure that all the techniques used in this book will work with your version of Photoshop as well.
Okay. Now that you know just about everything that you need to know, you'll know that you know that this really isn't a book you want to miss. So what are you waiting for? I'll see you over in the book ;)
