This episode is all about photographing and celebrating images of men!

We will begin with the ‘essentials’ of headshots and fashion, and then experiment with creative lighting and conceptual portraits. Furthermore, we’ll talk about some of my favorite poses and dramatic lighting techniques.

If you are a professional photographer, photographing men can be a substantial portion of your income. This could be in the form of headshots, high school senior portraits, men’s fashion lookbooks, album covers… you name it! Of course, to get this type of work you will need to have it represented in your portfolio.

While a majority of my clients are in the portrait and beauty realm, the portion of male clients and subjects has been increasing dramatically in the past couple of years. Whether I am photographing men’s skincare products or executive portraits, this is a growing part of my own business model.

Women often to get all the photographic attention… so let’s give them men some photographic love as well!
