Lumenzia v11.9.0 (released August 13, 2025)

Lumenzia v11 is fully compatible with my Dodging & Burning Master Course and Exposure Blending Master Course. None of workflows demonstrated in the courses have changed, and there is more information in section 1 to help answer any questions.

Fun fact: If you've been using Lumenzia since v1, you've now received 2,376 (free) new features, updates, and bug fixes in total.

Note: Lumenzia v11 requires Photoshop v24.2 or later, and runs natively on any machine which can run the required version of Photoshop (this includes native support for Apple Silicon).

If you are using Photoshop CS6 or an older version of CC, please install Lumenzia v9 (distributed in the same ZIP download).



Note: The ZIP download no longer has a standalone copy of the user manual (this duplication creates a risk it may not be in sync with the version in the panel). Just go to the flyout menu at top-right of Lumenzia v11 to find the user manuals.

Lumenzia updates include:

• Updated: Improved "split" to simplify the workflow when working with multiple images.
• Updated: 32-bit masks updated to better support PS v26.10+.
• Updated: 32-bit "dodge" optimized for improved HDR results.
• Updated: Clarified "map" tooltip for 32-bit images.
• Updated: Diff dialog buttons show blue so you can simply click <enter> to work more quickly. If you have selected a couple of layers, the compare layers option is the default. Otherwise, the last lighter/darker button will be the default.
• Fixed: "Dust" would not cycle through multiple visualizations in 32-bit mode.
• Fixed: "Diff" error when comparing layers if one was not visible.
• Fixed: ctrl/cmd-clicking "Split" did not sync views.

Lumenzia Basics updates include:

• New: Support for Generative Fill in 32-bit (HDR) images. Just click "fill" and follow the guidance provided. [requires latest version of Photoshop]
• Updated: "Fill" allows simpler use of white/gray/black fill (will create a new layer if the active target does not support it).
• Updated: "Fill" may proceed if multiple layers are selected (only the top layer will be filled if you don't choose an option which would create a new layer to fill).
