    JOELS-IMAGE-FOR-joel-course-page.jpg

By the end of this course, you will learn how to incorporate the knowledge, ethos and philosophy of one of the world's greatest photographers into your own photography.

How do I find a subject to photograph? How can I improve my compositional skills? How do I know if the light is right? See for yourself how Joel creates images, as he shares ideas, experiences, and explains how to make great photographs. Joel will also suggest some projects for you to try for yourself.

    ABOUT JOEL

In a career spanning 50 years, award-winning photographer Joel Meyerowitz has featured in over 350 exhibitions and has published more than 25 photography books. His first book Cape Light is widely regarded as classic of the genre.

In Joel’s easy to follow, non-technical classes, you can watch and learn at your own pace. Walk with Joel through picturesque Tuscany, bustling Siena and the vibrant streets of New York as he shows you how he creates his photographs. Join Joel as he discusses how to develop a meaningful project when he makes an emotional return to Ground Zero.

Joel is an extraordinary teacher and his passion his infectious. He will show you how to look for ideas and stories in a scene, improve your composition skills and use light and colour to capture a narrative. You’ll even learn how to be invisible in the streets!
This course, however, is about so much more than photography. Joel will inspire you with his lust for life and poetry. He push to evolve and grow, to take a new look at the world around you and how to keep in touch with your sensibility and curiosity, how to create art with your photography.
So join us and let Joel show you how to see beauty, quirkiness and uniqueness, in everyday life.

IN THIS COURSE YOU WILL LEARN
    • To develop your identity as a photographer
    • To avoid clichés and make your photos truly unique
    • About still life, portraiture, landscape and street photography
    • To build a repertoire of composition tactics

I’ve watched this and I must say, very refreshing for me. Meyerowitz has made me understand the fundamentals of the photography which I forgot. Thank you again for this which I want to believe will make me better photographer.
