Mastin Labs - Presets 3.0

Thank you for the feedback guys. I tried mango street film preset and didn’t like the look of it. I will try RNI next.

out of curiosity, which Dvlp should I use to emulate Kodak look? I look on their website and it’s a lot of different artists preset.

I tried the vsco cam profiles, when they work there nice but when they don’t they look cooked lol


my issue with the OG VSCO is I get confused with all the links on here since I have the Sonya7iii I don’t think I have found the profiles for it.

how does the standard Vsco version compare to the ones with specific camera profiles?

 

it isnt the 1-7 pack i assume? do you have a link on it? would like to try the original vsco, but i really like rni ones so far

Yes. It's the old 1-7 pack. They are shared on here and I shared some profiles I made using the originals.

The cam profiles are just too much.

The standard version compares favorably and it was the standard version which they used when they released their short lived LUTs.

That said, I really like using the Fuji profiles as a base. I know quite a few professionals who do the same regardless of them using Sony, Canon, or Nikon.

how would I use the fuji base for the Sony? wouldn't I need to change something in the Fuji camera profile ?

are the VSCO standard version the same as your Legacy packs profiles?

 

You just need to configure photoshop to use partial compatibility presets. Try it...you'll see the results are pretty good.

The ones in my Legacy sets are from the original standard profiles before futher tweaks were made. I think I explained it in my first legacy set.
