Mega account terminated

Online cloud isn’t safe in the longterm. Buy or build a NAS.

 

@claracake1 that sucks. I know first hand as so many of us have had our Mega accounts terminated without warning recently. I also was on a fully paid account that was just there one second, gone the next. No warnings.

 

I can see that many accounts are being closed on Mega. Bearing in mind that many of us keep tutorials there that we then share here. Did they start looking for shared material?

 

Must have jmgcg......I was given notice about an item i never posted, but must have copied to my mega.

Takedown ensued.

Never use em again.

 

I recieved two emails from them saying someone had issued a takedown notice against me but when I logged in to check what folders had been TOS-ed it just said my account had been terminated so I don't know whether it was items I'd posted or something I had saved to my account... either way I'm very annoyed with them for just trashing my account. I certainly won't be giving them a single penny ever again.

 

I think I didn't upload them, my account was frozen a long time ago, the mail came as if it was re-triggering the shit whole all over again.
