Ray is excited to join the Nature Photographers Network for this post-processing challenge! While he loves spending time in the field behind the camera, he also enjoys the process of narrowing down and editing photos to make them look their best. This is the time when all the hard work shooting comes to its final outcome with a polished finished photo! He has had the experience of working with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom professionally for the past 25 years and has become quite proficient at using both. He loves teaching and sharing his experience and approach towards editing with others.

About the Presenter
Starting in 2007, Ray’s fascination with nature photography began. In the years since wildlife photography with a focus on birds has evolved from a very passionate hobby to become his career. He spends much of his free time in natural areas searching for birds and any other wildlife that comes along. He concentrates on using creative natural lighting and interesting compositions to capture unique images of common and rare wildlife. His favorite style is a more scenic photo that includes some of the habitat wildlife lives in. He also enjoys passing along the knowledge and experience that he has gathered over the years to other photographers who are eager to learn. He has had the privilege of working with students both in person and remotely from all over the world to help guide them and accelerate the techniques and refinement of their wildlife photography.
