Need help color correcting skin

    I struggle with getting correct skin tones. I just read the book Skin V2 by varis and I wasn't particularly impressed. I would love some recommendations both ebook, tutorial, even YouTube that made or helped it click for you.

    hello. for skin tone correction, there are quite a few methods depending on how 'off' the tones are. tan-lines will be different to someone who has red patches. i have found that using Capture One 11 for neutralising skin tones is very effective. there are quite a few tutorials on how to do that in the software on youtube, so you will undoubtedly find something. hope that helps.

    Note that 'correct' isn't always 'pleasing'. If you're a stickler for accuracy, just use a color checker passport in conjunction with LR.
