Just about to head out for a job (not video) but I'm traveling at the end of the year and hopefully going to do some video whilst I'm out there. But I've never done it before. I have a Mavic Pro and a Ronin-S on the way, but in terms of 'the basics' (settings, post, slog/cine/etc) where should I start? Sony A7 III. Also - if/when using a gimbal that doesn't have a little focus wheel (Ronin only supports Panasonic at the time of writing) how do you acquire focus/refocus during motion capture? I'm aware I just posted the Fstoppers 'Intro To Video', but interested in how everyone else goes about it.
I don't do much video myself, that being said, I really enjoyed the tutorial by Philip Bloom: https://p-v.club/index.php?threads/philip-blooms-cinematic-masterclass.281/ I think it's one of the better ones to get started!
