Absolutely NO, I have this app installed on 2 Mac. You need to stop the connection to home with a firewall like Vallum, Radio Silence.
I use Vallum but it is necessay to pay. I share with you Radio Silence and try.
Now it is necessary to remove the app, clean all files, install Radio Silence, re-install the app and block immediately the connection. Do not open the app without stop the connection.

I have my On1 app on the blocked list in Little Snitch (so far as I know the best firewall for MacOS) and still I get the 14 day trial screen.....

 

The 2022 version came with additional [K]ed file from TNT which you had to replace the original app file with.

 

I do not like Little Snitch and I removed it few years ago. I bought Vallum for me the best.

 

Good for you but the fact is, i've tried Radio Silence hour ago and the result stays the same.... 14 day trial screen

 

Have you removed the app and all files in the mac? For example with App Cleaner and also by hand

I have a Macbook with Big Sur and Mac mini with Monterey and On1 Effects 2022 and Photo Raw installed without a problems.
There is a trial version of Vallum 4 and the price for personal license is low.

 

I just downloaded the trial of Vallum and uninstalled anything I had of ON1 Photo RAW 2023. Opened Vallum and it started asking me to accept the normal connections in the form of block and allow. I installed Photo RAW 2023 with Vallum open. I DID NOT open Photo RAW 2023 after the install. I made sure to block any connection in Vallum from the app AND THEN opened Photo RAW 2023 and it STILL told me it was a trial. Also, I used the most recent version of ON1 Photo RAW 2022 WITHOUT adding it to Radio Silence and it still worked so don't think this kind of app needs to block incoming connections. If it is cracked, then the app should "think" it has a legitimate license and shouldn't be asking for a license.

 

Managed to make it work here ... Used Radio Silence to block it ... Just try to sign in with typing anything in the email and anything in the password and it ll just launch !!!

 

I just tried it out and you're right. It works when you click Owner's Sign In and put ANYTHING in the Email Address and Password boxes. You have to do this every time you want to use it but it's only a minor annoyance. I also can confirm that it is a TNT app which always work well for me. https://imgur.com/a/eXFJvN1

That worked perfectly! Thank you. I removed ON1 Photo RAW 2023 using AppZapper and reinstalled it with your download, then made sure to add it to Radio Silence and it works without asking me to sign in.
