Hi @cassini The Technique (creating Frequencies) is the same. However, Aaron uses a fairly high Blur Radius (Around 50 px) and uses The Normal Brush Tool whereas Tata uses Mixer Brush. Both are the same in my opinion but, Aoron's technique is fast with subtle changes...

in my opinion, Mixer Brush will Low settings or Soft Brush with 10% or less flow is best for Low frequency edit. Anything more, you'll spoil the image.
Agree with you, it's only for the LOW layer. And for HIGH layer you could edit blemishes by Healing or Cloning. Just take it easy on using the Mixer Brush, it is also best on discoloration or uneven color of the skin. Note: If you take it for granted you'll be damaging the skin and it will be overdone. So be subtle & thorough, using FS Mixer Brush. And guys, help us @Mystic Wolf make up a list who other else teaches this kind of method such as the FS Mixer Brush. In this way, we could make reviews in the future which the better and easier way in how we could achieve a nice and finer edit of rendition. OK, @Mystic Wolf , I have already seen it. But I do prefer RGGEDU, FS 2.0 w/ Mixer Brush by Earth Oliver and Sef McCullough. This way, if you mess things up you could still rescue it. As far as I could remember, Pratik Naik and Conny Wallstrom are all using this technique.
