Gold Photo Mechanic v6.6.0 build 5029 [macOS]

Some guidance on getting this to work? I get the "“Photo Mechanic Plus” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash." error, and I ran the script in your signature but not sure what it does (it doesn't make the app run)

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine 

and drag and drop app from Applications folder into terminal window.

It is not in English, so you won't understand it anyway.
The error message is simple - Says: File is damaged.

I also tried the Command + right click "open".

IOS: 10.15.5

 

It’s not dequarantined.
sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine drag n drop app here.
Let one spacebar before “quarantine.”

 

TRY THIS

I got it work on the M1 MacMini
I copied the app into the Applications Folder on my Mac
Then opened Terminal
Pasted the code below

Code:

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Photo\ Mechanic\ Plus.app 

Hit enter and done

all great - BUT this PM *Plus* doesn´t have the *Plus*-features. Meaning: the catalog function that differentiates PM Plus from ordinary PM is missing here, it seems.

 

Yes I concur, this does not seem to have the cataloging capabilities and works as the classic Photo Mechanic for browsing folders...

 

When I try it in terminal, it's asking for password

 

Just type your mac password.

 

Can you reupload?
