If you want to post a new tutorial, or other digital download, please follow these guidelines:
    • first of all do a search - to check that you are not posting duplicate content
    • also check the results shown below the title(after you write the title in the new thread) for possible duplicate threads
    • the title of the thread should be in this format: Site - Author Name - Original Course Title
    • add a Description paragraph
    • add a representative Image (see the details on how to do this below)
    • add a Link to the author's website (so more information can be easily found)
    • use the HIDE or the GOLD buttons on your download links (so that the links are visible only to people that like your post). More info here: https://p-v.club/threads/the-new-gold-button-how-to-post-content-for-gold-members-only.1991/
    • you must use 1fichier, filen.io, workupload, or other hosts that allow direct links to upload your items
    • you can use a thread prefix when posting content (Gold prefix when posting a Gold link, Request prefix when posting a request, etc.).
    • do not create multiple posts for content belonging in one thread (do not split chapters/parts/versions/updates/etc. across multiple posts). Except if the content requires a monthly subscription.

When adding images to your post you can add them as an attachment or directly link to the image on a site. Please do not hotlink images directly to the author site because the author can see that the image is loaded from here. Instead upload them to a site like imgur.com.
There is an add-on installed that automatically converts hotlinked images to attachments. But if your image is bigger than 2 MB it will not be converted to an attachment. So it is recommended that you verify if the images were attached after you create the post.

    BB Code Editor:
By using the BB Code Editor(click on the crayon from the right-side above the post) you can verify the tags. It is highly recommended that you do this so your posts are valid and all the tags are closed.

Note: This list will be updated without notice. Please follow this thread regularly.

ADDING AN IMAGE VIA IMGUR GUIDELINE

This detailed guideline, with visuals included, lays down the simple basics on uploading content such an image via Imgur and using the URL as an image attachment on your thread.

    - 1 -
    Px27Jfg.png
For example, visit Kyle Vollaers’ presets page - here - where you can find a representative image. Right-click an image and select ‘Copy Image Address’ on the context menu. The image’s link location is then copied. Alternatively, you can save the image onto your PC.

    - 2 -

Go to imgur.com, you can either paste the image link using ctrl/command + v keys onto the site, or drag-and-drop the image directly to the site if you are a fan of this method. The content will then be uploading.

    - 3 -

Once the content upload is completed, right-click the content to select ‘Open Image in New Tab’, the image will automatically open in a new tab ready to view.

    kQzDJQZ.png
You can see that the link ends in .jpg or .png. Highlight the URL in the address bar and copy it. (You may close the new image tab, but not the Imgur site, just yet!)

On the forum’s post page, place the text cursor anywhere you wish on the text body, and click the ‘Image Attachment’ button on the top taskbar.

    F6jYU7I.png
Then you paste the copied URL there, and click 'Insert' button.

This will result in a full image being displayed on the body.

This is optional but recommended. Once the thread is posted (that’s where the hot linked image is converted into an attachment), go back to the Imgur site where you uploaded the image. Scroll down, and on the right column, click ‘Delete post’ and confirm on the pop-up dialogue box. The image will then be deleted from Imgur, but doing so will not affect the attachment(s) on your post as long as the thread is made live.

Hope this clarifies. Should you have any further questions/concerns, please reach out to moderators. Thank you for your time.

    Thanks serendipity for the guide.

USING HIDE OR GOLD TAGS THE RIGHT WAY GUIDELINE

This short guideline will help you how to use tags, HIDE or GOLD, correctly. It’s actually very simple and straightforward. All you have to do is grab an uploaded content link from 1fichier, WorkUpload, Dropbox, Google Drive (here, you need to make sure to update the settings to make the link shareable to the public).

In this case, let’s get a link from Mega. Right-click the uploaded content file/folder and select ‘Create link’ (or ‘Manage link’ if you have already created the link), and a dialogue box appears. Click ‘Copy’ green button, which will copy the entire URL.

On a thread’s post page, paste the link anywhere you wish in the text body. Then, simply highlight the URL only, and click either HIDE or GOLD icon on the top taskbar.

Congratulations, it’s now hidden, and that’s where you’ll get likes. A friendly note - please use either HIDE or GOLD, not both simultaneously because it'll confuse non-gold members.

Hope this helps. If you have further questions, moderators will gladly be of assistance. Thanks for your time.

    Thanks serendipity for the guide.

HOW TO EDIT YOUR THREAD'S TITLE

    - 1 -

    h1p5loA.jpg
Make sure you are not in editing mode on your thread text body. Instead, on the top of your thread, to the right, you can see ‘Thread Tools’ button. Hover your cursor over the button and the menu will drop. Click ‘Edit Thread'.

    - 2 -
    CdjW4hd.jpg
The dialogue box will show up. There, (1) you can edit the title in the text box. If you need to edit or update your prefix (2), you can click the tag just above the title’s placement. Once you are done, confirm to save changes.

Note: please format your title correctly according to the rules such as Site - Author - Title. Capitalisation is not necessary.

Hope this helps! Please do not hesitate to contact mods should you need further help.

    Thanks serendipity for the guide.
