Many thanks to @puppetwarp for posting and it will be a bonus if you can also get lesson 3-5 in better quality.

As far as the content goes, I am a little disappointed with Profoto Academy. Overly simplified and Hannah Couzens was already shooting in HSS for at least one of the earlier photoshoots even before the HSS tutorial. With sidewall bounce, she could learn a thing or two from Neil van Niekerk (black foamie thing) to avoid the ugly hard shadows under the chin. I am not sure what camera she was using but she said that she was shooting at HSS at 1/200s. Also, Hannah needs to keep her ambient exposure the same if she plans to show us the difference in flash techniques. Her ambient exposure tends to shift here and there.

I have a copy in Mega ready that I can mirror immediately if original poster @puppetwarp is busy. As far as the tutorial is concerned, I am a little disappointed as mentioned earlier in my earlier post.

Which tutorials would you recommend to learn on camera flash, particularly for events? I noticed you uploaded neil van Niekerk's on camera flash ebook, do you have the revised edition for this?

@anonzzz can you please answer this question if you have some spare time. You seem to be very resourceful, I am trying to improve my on camera flash for run and gun situations in events, in particular weddings. Unfortunately, setting up 2 or 3 light stands for the dance floor and bride & groom seating does not cover the whole venue.

@Kocaman Sorry for not responding to your questions and queries due to my hectic schedule. The safe way is to set up 4 hard lights on 4 light stands on 4 corners of the dance floor for backlit, meaning only the 2 flashes behind the bride & groom will be on depending on where you are located. As for your camera, you will have a shoe mount flash for fill.

I am sorry to hear about your hectic schedule. Thank you for all the mirrors you provide for this community, we greatly appreciate your effort. I hope photography is going well. Isn't cross lighting recommend for most reception scenarios? (1 opposite each other, 1 for key the other for rim). Your suggestion of using 2 rim lights will mean that there will be no key/fill lights unless you are filling with the on camera flash. Then the success of that will depend on the venue some venues have coloured dark walls or pure black due to the need of bounce flash from on camera. Also do you have any good suggestions for on camera flash tutorials? I am looking for advanced level, i have covered most basic and intermediate tutorials.

If we are talking about the DANCE floor where you be moving around like crazy, then you can use the 4 hard lights at the perimeter for backlit lighting only. The flash on your camera can be a direct flash or bounce for fill, or none at all for silhouette shots.

For static reception portraits, my preference is always cross lighting with 2 lights, and sometimes a 3rd light (as a bounce or in a big softbox) to control and fill in the shadows in front.
