Purchase 1 month contributor or save up for lifetime?

No need to save. Lifetime membership is 150 points. Even if you save all your points, you will come to 133 points. These are the points you can spend, because when you reach 12.800 likes, you receive 150 points which you can use for lifetime membership.

Contributor membership = GOLD

 

Thanks for your reply. But it seems that when you buy a Contributor membership for 1 month, your points are deducted, so if I buy every month, then I'll never save enough to get to the 150 points necessary for lifetime membership?

 

Points are subtracted but "likes" still remain !

 

For 12.800 likes, you get 150 points at once which is enough for lifetime membership. All the points you get before you can spend. If you save them all, you will have 283 points when you reach 12.800 likes which is waaay too much. So spend your points wisely, but do spend them, saving will just deprive you of 13 months of gold membership.

 

Thanks, I guess it's a gambling game as it appears to get harder to keep Gold status after about 2 months as you suddenly need double the likes for 10 points versus just 100 more likes...

 

I know what you mean but...the more you share (quality) the more you gain (likes-points) and...have you seen what kind of BigArchive is over there?!
