Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim Brothers & Sisters Welcome the month of Ramadan with the heart filled with peace, harmony and joy. May the divine blessings of God protect and guide you. May God give you all the prosperity and success. May God bless you with wealth and happiness and gives you a healthy life. Wishing a blessed Ramadan that will inspire you with courage and strength that will help you to win every challenge of life! May God bless you and your family. Ramadan Kareem! May God bless your path with knowledge and light that will help to enlighten your heart! During the month of Ramadan, Muslims do not eat or drink between dawn and sunset in order to devote themselves to their faith. Fasting - or sawm - is one of the Five Pillars of Islam which forms the basis upon which Muslims live their lives. Ramadan typically involves fasting for most Muslims during the day, with worshipers having two meals each day, the suhoor, just before dawn and the iftar directly after sunset. Typically friends and families would get together for the iftar each day to break their fast. This year, coronavirus has impacted celebrations by the lockdown and social distancing. Not all Muslims fast however, Children, pregnant women, the elderly and those who are ill, or who are traveling do not have to fast.
