    Seascapes, Coastal Photography, pointing cameras at water, whatever you want to call it... this is the video that covers it. We'll discuss not only the unique shooting theories and seascape-specific post-processing methods to apply, but just as importantly, the when, where, and why involved in it all.


    Topics covered:

    -Why coastal photography gives you more control over your entire scenes.

    -Leading lines, waves, motion and how the heck to use them for your compositions.

    -Crash vs Curl

    -Avoiding formulas.

    -Getting wrecked at your own peril.

    -To photograph the beach, maybe get off the beach.

    -Visual paths and rewards.

    -Sea life and when not to use it.

    -Half exposed reflections?

    -Framing, not just for carpenters anymore.

    -Front light kinda sucks.

    -Scattered light

    I could be convinced to run a group buy for this combined with his other three new tutorials that we don't have yet if there's enough interest. We'd need 8 people, but really 10-12 people to be safe (to account for inevitable dropouts/ non-payment) at about $25 a person.

    So, it would combine this one (Seascapes Studies), More RAW Control, What the Heck is Perspective Blending, and Mostly Real... But Not.

    Alright, we can try it out. If we don't get enough interest within a couple months, I'll cancel the group buy before we collect any money. I'm going to set it at a minimum of 8 people, $20 a pop to account for dropouts/non-payment.

    This group buy will be for 2 courses by Ryan Dyar: Seascapes Studies and More RAW Control.

    Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), Ryan Dyar has reduced his prices on the two courses we were going to buy, so they no longer qualify for a group buy even when combined. Because of this and also due to apparent lack of interest, this group buy has been canceled.
