Named because this dress reminded me of a black version of Kylie's in her hit song "Can't Get You Out Of My Head"!

In this retouch, we go through my usual workflow of cleaning up the backdrop and overall structure of the image, then frequency separation, dodge and burn, and colour grading. There is also some liquify.

Recorded in 2019, this retouch does NOT use the Pro Retouch Workflow actions (PRW), so you see how I create each layer from scratch.

The tutorial covers enhancing background and dress details, cropping, skin retouching, makeup perfection, and dynamic lighting addition. Techniques like frequency separation for skin smoothing, utilizing various tools for texture and tone adjustments, and fine-tuning with dodge and burn are explained. Additionally, the script delves into color grading and luminosity adjustments to achieve a polished, cinematic look. The process showcases the importance of preserving natural textures while achieving a highly refined and glossy portrait finish.
