Would anyone happen to know if the 'result' of an off-brand flash would be the same as Sony's own if/when using TTL? Not sure if the camera or the flash determines theses sort of things, but I'm finding my Godox all over the place with my A7 III. Have used Nikon cameras with Nikon flashes (700/800/900/910) which have always performed flawlessly - so just trying to isolate the problem.
A7-Series + Godox + TTL = trouble I switched to the B1 Profoto+AirTTL-S after der AD600+X1T-S gave me TTL all over the place and Godox is not fixing the problem via firmare-update. At the moment only Profoto has a contract with Sony and know the Sony-TTL everything else is "just" reverse engineered. I´m still using my AD200 in non TTL-mode and hope for the AD200 from Profoto. ;-)
Sonys own ..but please the new flash with the metal hot-shoe and not the "old" plastic one. HVL-F60RM
Is this still the case for godox flashes when using A7 III and A7R III or has there been any improvements implemented via firmware by any of the manufacturers?
Wondering the same thing. Godox for me using TTL on AD600 Pro hasnt worked at all for me. Dont even know if im doing it right. lol. Pass the pocket wizard, ill just shoot manual.
