At Studio Yorktown, we believe in crafting mockup templates that can help in your design process. We looked around for a book mockup template with the features we wanted, but couldn't find it... so we made one we love, and we hope you'll love it too.

Honbako (which means 'bookcase' in Japanese) has been built from the ground up to be the most versatile book mockup template ever created.

Everything you need has been thoughtfully arranged in three neatly-labelled and easy-to-use templates for front, open spread and back spread views. Add your designs in a variety of special print effect such as Spot UV, Metallic Foil or Holo Foil simply by editing the appropriate Smart Object layers.

From matte pages that look real enough to touch, to a choice of material finishes such as leather, snakeskin and canvas, you are free to explore new ideas and visualize while you use it. Everything is hand-crafted from real photographs and scans (no unnatural computer-made renders). We've also left in a few tasteful imperfections, 'wabi-sabi' which make your final images look life-like and realistic.
