I think Valenzuala,Ghionis and Bryce have taken posing just too far......to the point that its become far too intricate and its almost microscopic.....personally I can't watch these guys anymore.
I find all the SLRLounge classes a bit too much of an overkill as well.
I always enjoy Chris Knight and Zack's classes.
I don't have much interest in landscape photography but I watched Nigel Danson's class and really enjoyed it.....his work has a more natural look compared to some of the other landscape stuff I see.

I am also looking for tutorials on creative storytelling in photography / crafting a narrative like telling a story with the image not just capturing it..... fictional photography, I guess is the term I am looking for, it seems damn near impossible to find anything worthwhile that I haven't consumed already (Brooke shaden has some great stuff, Kate Woodmans was super disappointing, anti karppinen class was great, Richard Wakefield had good stuff) if anyone can point me towards a worthwhile tutorial I will be sure to send you a reward. lol

    -------------------------
    quick recommendations..
+1 for Brief Encounters with Gregory Crewdson
+1 Richard Wood for painterly edits
    +1 for Chris Knight
This guy has some great videos on painterly stuff https://youtu.be/ZopHsb7sSwY
    Any of John Keatleys tutorials
    Eric Almas of course,

    Great thread, Leona95!

For beginners working with Flash: Zack Arias – One Light (I actually prefer the grittiness and relative lower production of his version “One” [1st] over his second). Also, his contribution on CreativeLive specific to global overview on fundamentals, lighting, etc is excellent.

    - RGG / PRO – EDU are phenomenally produced and add an extra element of providing an interview with many of the presenters so as to garner some insight to the thought-process for the viewer.

    - Pratik Naik is oh-so the mellowest and excellent instructor for retouching, he possesses the gift of nuance; but GOD, do I love the retouching of Natalia Taffarel - a high end fashion retoucher and workshop instructor from Buenos Aries, Argentina (the only thing I like better from Argentina is steak!)

    - Beyond the fundamentals of lighting: One can never go wrong with Joe McNally: his seminal “The Moment It Clicks” and “Hot Shoe Diaries” was groundbreaking for its time. His method is sublime: when faced with a lighting problem, opt for the [sometimes] simplest solution. Also, David Hobby (founder of Strobist) is mandatory reading. Oh yes: Gregory Heisler: 50 Portraits: Stories and Techniques from a Photographer's Photographer is great!

    - Lindsay Adler and Sue Bryce are stellar!

    - Joel Grimes self-admittedly has his own style and I appreciate his “meat-and-potatoes” approach! Did I mention I like steak?

    - The now-bye-bye RAWExchange had great tutorials – seek them out and absorb the contents.

    - If only Annie Leibovitz could find a producer to catalyze her ability to teach . . . and it resulted in content 1/10th the product of her late partner Suasn Sontag’s written word, I would drop cash in a split-second! That Masterclass was equivalent to Star Wars’ Jar-Jar Binks . . .

    upload_2020-4-6_22-22-3.png

    - As for an artist-background with applications for photography: Adam Marelli [period]. Actually, this should be at the TOP of the list . . . he IS that good as an educator and his teachings are posted on this site!!

    - There are others, but I realize I’m getting a little long-winded . . . looking forward to what others have to write . . .

Look at the following link -
    https://www.magnumphotos.com/photographer/josef-koudelka/

Although his work is based on reality at-the-time and strongly rooted in story-telling (he was a Master, after-all) - you might find inspiration in closely studying his documentary photos; some fantastic work in which you may spring-board for your end-goal.

    Also - try https://www.magnumphotos.com/arts-culture/society-arts-culture/sergio-larrain-vagabondages/

    The tutorial is called:
RGGEDU — Advanced Texture Cleanup With Earth Oliver
    https://p-v.club/threads/rggedu-—-advanced-texture-cleanup-with-earth-oliver.751/

However, seeing that you are not a Gold Member, you can get the action and simplified instructions on how to use it here:
