    If you are a serious photographer, using a real camera (digital or film) with adjustable apertures, you need to read this book. With carefully explained optical diagrams and some simple math, the author explains why conventional explanations of depth-of-field and apertures will likely degrade the quality of your photographs. You are often best to set the focus at infinity and use the smallest aperture that does not cause diffraction effects and bang away!His argument is hard to fault and will simplify your photography at the same time as you get better images.

    I don't understand the draw: more longer is the focal more you get depth of focus ????

    Well . . . depends on your shooting lens as well as your subject material -so it "can" be a yes - there are a myriad of details and variables within this short (but adequate) read . . . but who prints . . . and what kind of person looks at large prints nowadays . . . poor kids know not what appreciation for a stellar large print provides . . . :confused:
