    Mainly aimed at Apple Users, I add this as an "Other" as a one-time post to provide a review of a major overhaul of a core system. Though it is tangential to photo and video, there was buzz about the changes and a few may find these useful as a quick reference.     Thank you @Nikon4life and @jbgood47 , I will interpret the "likes" as provisional approval of this non-photo/video post by the premier rock n roller and the golden turtle, who rank highly in the pvc pantheon. I do not view this as future approval for all things mac so don't worry.

    I guess it might be considered a little "tertiary" in relevance - but I've personally found such material (in the past as relating to optimally using a core OS with the periphery of various apps / programs) as part of a best-practice. Ultimately a time-saver for a little up-front investment [of attention, and well . . . time . . . ]. Nonetheless - thanks for the share - even if it does get tagged as not belonging to this island of misfit toys . . .

    . . . or - I'm simply guilty of being a hoarder of material shared on this forum . . .
