If we wanted to do a group buy, it would be something like:

    • 5 people: $100 each
    • 10 people: $50 each
    • 20 people: $25 each
    • 25 people: $20 each
    • 50 people: $10 each
    • 100 people: $5 each

    I personally don't mind 10 people at $50 since:
    1. That's not more than what high end LUTs would cost anyway.
    2. The supplemental LUTs you can stack with this are already uploaded.
    3. It's probably a lot easier to get 10 people to agree as opposed to 20 or more.

    As an aside...

I've been looking at this over and over again and it seems like Linny VFX is the exact same as their main kit but made in linear profiles (rec709) for Adobe. Am I correct or am I reading this incorrectly?

It looks like it's more of a linear to log conversion tailored for stills :

"As you can see on the left image, LinnyVFX base linear-to-log conversion is immaculate and exactly what you would get with a Cineon film scan"

Which is even better because if it's quite accurate, it means you could use this as a negative and make it works with various film print LUTs

So I guess you would only need to create a linear profile for your camera and create a Cameraw Profile combining this with the VFX LUT to get starting point that looks like a log image

    Exactly but said differently lol.

"they can be used for photographic work to either convert images to log with the included pseudo-log Linny LUT or process images to a cinematic final color output with Linny+Print LUTs."

The Print LUTs in the kit being the B0-B4 FPE's....and the pseudo-log being the Linny Lut....

    So....

Let me know what you guys think....I've included the SPK in this pack too...the old one...but if anyone has the new one, I'm happy to include those too if you share...

How did you managed to convert them to Profiles? Every time I've tried to do so, there's an error message (With all of The Brim luts...) Maybe they're encoded? sort of encription to prevent this procedure?

Those are the ARRI Linny Main Kit converted to linear for use in ACR. You need to adjust them but they should work the same.

The SPK you add after the basic B0-B4 applications.

Would be cool to see if someone could make these into LUT's , I guess I could try in Photoshop to convert them but never really come out the same as a LUT
    Thanks

You can't really make them work since a CST conversion from LogC3 to Linear wont do the trick. Simply because once still RAW files go through a RAW converter software they aren't truly linear anymore. Most softwares will apply some sort of transfer functions to them so they are more easy to manipulate and read.

The best way to create a matching profile for LR, would be to shoot a video of a color chart and a contrast chart in log profile and take a picture in RAW format and manually match the video with the correct CST and LUT applied and the RAW file. That's how I did my profiles, using LUTs from diffrent sources (filmbox / dehancer negatives and/or DVC PFE etc), first steps tonal contrast by rebuilding the curves and then colors with DCTLs like tetra / color shift etc
