Done Topaz Video Enhance AI v3.3.3 MAC OSX ****UPDATED

3.1.1 does not work anymore, only 3.1.0 does. Even though the script completes successfully with 3.1.1, when you turn on any Enhancement filters in Topaz, the preview as well as the export throw an error message.

M1 MacBook Air w/ Ventura here.

P.S.: Correction: 3.1.1 with this script still works on my Intel 2019 MacBook Pro, but not anymore on my M1 MacBook Air. Both running Ventura.

I would recommend not updating to the newest version of the app until your sure it works on newer version which I will update here, But on that note, I do not see other having your same problem, But I will check and see if others are posting a new script and will update it here as soon as I can..
Until then I would revert back to the last working version...
Here is a way some have had success apparently, but try it at your own risk and if not, revert back to the version that did work for you until further info.

to get Topaz Video AI v3.1.2 to work smoothly, at least for me, and on M1.
Models are downloading, previews are being generated, and exports complete without any issue.

1. Apply the original patch from previous versions via terminal
2. Replace libvideoai.0.dylib (with the one from v.3.1.0) in Topaz Video AI/Contents/Frameworks/

All models but one seem to be working just fine with this method. Unfortunately Apollo gives this message "Unknown Error" when trying to use it...


Apparently still works with the newest version 3.1.4 but I can not confirm it myself..

 

This script is working with version 3.1.6. Am on an M1 Mac with Ventura.

Could you please make again an Patch which could be applied with Terminal? So we can use it also on newer Versions not only for 3.2.6?

 

It will work on the latest version. Just install the app and do not open it. Open your terminal and copy and paste the script into the terminal and press enter. Enter your password and wait a second to let the script complete. You can now open the app and exit out of the activate screen and everything should work as expected.

Are you on ARM or Intel?

Unfortunately it’s not working with Version 3.3.0 :-(

It seems it’s not find the file „libvideoai.0.dylib“ in the newest Version. That is why the Patch could not be applied…

 

I

told you in an above post, NOT to try and use it on a newer version. Trash it, use the latest working version from my link. Scripts like these need to be changed on the latest versions and until they are proven working, Do NOT try and use them on newer versions, You should know that already. If and when there is a script for 3.3.0 I will post it here..
