What monitor are You guys using for photo editing in 2023?
Right now i am using an industrial monitor 28.9" 4k, anandtech, but i wanna switch to something else.
    Do You have any suggestions?
I wanna stick to 4k or go above because I am shooting on a fujifilm GFX 100s, thats 102mpx.

    pretty breath taking lol

I had the 50s also and I did some tests, same subject same light conditions same lens and same settings, the 100s gets much brighter images. ( and the 100s was on default settings and the 50s settings were optimized, i mean dinamic range etc)

the single thing I hate about it is the slow focus compared to sony or canon, the 63mm is kinda similar to the 50mm F/1.4 from canon at focus speed. I am using canon to gfx kipon adapter and I think the slow focus is 80% on lens side and 20% on the camera side.

I don't recommend it for wild life shootings, like birds/ animals or sport events.

I tried to upload a jpg, but the picture is too large lol.

    Why do You ask?
    Do You have one too?

I also shoot with canon 6D mark II and I wanna upgrade it to either 5D mark IV (since I have tons of canon eos lenses) or something from R family.

I still use my old canon dlsr but from what I've seen online and read about 100s, it's pretty sick.

To be honest any BENQ Photography monitor should do, I use SW240, I am too poor to upgrade it into either 2k or 4k ones. In my opinion BENQ is the best out there in terms of color calibration and ease of use as they have their own software with works behind the scene with the hardware and bake the result into the motherboard of the monitor, so it isn't like only software base calibration that most of the softwares do. The calibration results are there even if you change or reformat windows.

Eizo and Benq are the best at the moment. But I didn't want to sell the farm for a monitor. So I did some research. I recently bought the Samsung UHD Monitor U28E590DSL. It is 4K. It has 98% sRGB. And after some tweaking with the color settings I'm really satisfied with it. For editing photos and sending them out only digitally, I don't need the 99% Adobe RGB, that the Eizo and Benq monitors have. The LG Ultrafine 27MD5KLP-B was also a hot contender. But this only works perfectly with Apple hardware. It can be seen as a great alternative to Apple's own Studio Display (for half the price of it).
