Curbon - Yohei Sawamura プリセット

Instagram has over 60,000 followers (as of December 2018) It is supported by a wide range of people regardless of gender. Its popularity is not limited to domestic but also abroad is drawing attention photographer.
For portraits, snaps, table photos, etc. I like editing like Yōhei Sawamura in various pictures, but is not it that there are many people who can not do it quite well? Thanks a for this. Just one question, is anyone getting the preset names greyed out? Like being not compatible

 

Since the newest LR version presets get greyed out when the camera profile is missing. Is this the case here? Please check @Ric

 

I find it strange, which camera profile could be missing? I don't think Sawamura uses camera profiles, although he uses curves from VSCO

 

You can open the .xmp and .lrtemplate-files with an editor like notepad for Windows. There is a line of code in each file called "CameraProfile = ..." or "crs:CameraProfile=...". If there is something else but the classical profiles LR / ACR use anyway (like "Adobe Standard") you need a specific one to apply this preset correctly.

DVLOP for example has also a bunch of specific camera profiles which will be installed correctly if you use the setup. Could be the same here.

I figured as much, just didn't expect these presets would require such camera profiles, for example the All in One says Matrix in the Camera Profile on Notepad.
The Spring03 for example says it needs the Kodak UM 400 - L, so I'm guessing the L might stand for Leica?! Maybe even Lumix?!

 

So if we wan to use this preset perfectly we have to install the camera profile to lightroom? I did not import any profile camera to my lightroom! I usually see the "Adobe standard color"!

 

@Ric that's quite funny sometimes. There are presets on the market sold for lots of money which are based on a VSCO camera profile with slight tweaks. Not sure if L stands for Leica. You could search online for that profile.

@beonyouuuu yes that's what you need to do.

 

Yes the L stands for Leica which is quite strange since Sawamura uses mostly a Sony camera. Even if we install the profiles it won't work because the raw file doesn't recognize the camera profile. I'll try to edit the xmp file and change it to my camera profile to see if it works

Thank you, the profile is greyed out for me but I had already on my computer which works on the other version anyway really nice presets ! x
