Retratone brings real print-style halftones to Photoshop 2024+, with custom inks, multiple pattern styles, and powerful controls to create bold analog looks.

    Creator URL: https://texturelabs.org/tools/retratone-plugin-for-photoshop/

    Source: https://t.me/cgperec/5782 (https://cgperec.net/)

Apply Retratone to any layer or composition to transform it into a fully adjustable halftone print.
The plugin combines customizable inks, multiple halftone pattern styles, and adjustable print behavior to recreate the look of real inks on paper. The result is a flexible system for designing everything from subtle texture to bold vintage-style graphics, and even preparing clean ink separations for real-world printing.
    How It Works:
Apply the effect to one or more layers to create a live halftone that remains fully adjustable. Start with a preset or build your own by refining patterns, inks, and print behavior to dial in a custom look.

Has anyone managed to make the panel appear in Photoshop? I can't find it anywhere.

@Danurov - first, thanks for stepping up as a new member to share some stuff with the rest of the group and help out with mirrors!

That said, your post has a couple issues:
    1. They're the exact same files that were shared by a different user before in a now-deleted post with some of the same problems. I appreciate that you went through and removed the additional files that are prohibited here and any references to joining telegram groups, but the instructions file still has the problem of linking to the same (incorrect?) creator website that the previous share did. Which begs the question: have you actually tried/tested this product? Is it a cracked version of Texturelabs' Retratone, or is it actually Doron Supply's Dithertone Pro?
    2. While your post included the creator website, you missed including the source of your files. Including the source is a new rule that the admins just instituted. This could be the scene cracker that provided the files if you were able to source directly, though more than likely it'll be the site/method from where you obtained them. This lets people know if they want to download or wait for a source they consider to be more reputable. You can check out the recent updates to the rules here: https://p-v.club/threads/p-v-club-rule-change-update-tracker.62500/ - since this rule is brand new, I wanted to give you a chance to fix and respond before following the "letter of the law" so to speak.

Thank you for the information. I have the original version 1.0.5 of the plugin. I’ve installed it and am using it. If you check the file, you’ll see there’s no Telegram link. I think there must have been a mistake.

I’m not sure what kind of link I need to add. I’d appreciate your help.

Please direct file copy, for location :

I did check the file and compared it to the previous version that was uploaded by a different user. That's how I knew there was no telegram link ;) I think you may have just misunderstood what I typed is all. I'm assuming there may be a bit of a language barrier, here? I was highlighting how your post didn't have all of the same problems as the one that was deleted, but the file itself did contain the same txt instruction file with the same mistake in it. But if you're using it, then that means that you can confirm the product is the correct product and not the mistake product listed in the directions. So we're good on that point - nothing further necessary for my first question.

We just need to know the source is all... meaning where did you obtain it? See the admin's post here where I was asking for clarification, too: https://p-v.club/threads/incomplete-or-low-quality-content.61914/#post-350256

Basically, did you get it from a third-party reseller or other site like Vk? If so which site? Or did you get it directly from the source of the crack, which I'm assuming is dadksy_leaks? I know with cracks, most scene groups don't have websites (though it's really nice when they do! Thanks Team VR!) and providing a website may not be possible, so if there's no site to list, then I think a brief description of where you obtained would suffice for the intent of what @h1ghm1nd is looking for. Though I'm going to tag him to correct me here in case he really did mean to limit sources to only published websites. As I said, this rule is brand new, and frankly - I'm still trying to figure out how to "enforce" it myself - It's significantly easier for courses and presets than it is for software lol. The intent, as I understand it, is to allow some content that wasn't previously allowed here, without opening the floodgates to content (in this case: risky, unvetted software) that no one knows where it came from. Basically, by knowing and sharing your source, you're vouching for it, or at least being transparent about how you got it.

To try to give a concrete example: if I needed a cracked audio plugin by team R2R, I know exactly which forum and which user accounts they use to publish "official" cracked software so I can make sure to get it from them directly as opposed to downloading or torrenting a version from a questionable source. So I would be able to confidently say that I sourced a plugin from them directly. Hope that helps! We'll see if the admins have anything to add, but for now, if you don't have a site, just add a brief description about how you sourced the file.

For some reason, I copy the folder to the location of plug ins in Photoshop, and nothing happens in Photoshop itself. Like its not recognized. Are there any otehr dependencies that one needs to know about.

No. Just copy and paste, and you’ll see it in the plugins panel.

    I've got it.
I see. I’ll let you know where I got the file from. Thank you for your information and for taking an interest. I just wanted to help people.

I’ll make sure not to trouble you again in future.

No worries! You're not troubling me. We're working it out as we go!

Thanks for adding that info to your post. I've updated with the website associated with that Telegram account, too.

That is what I would expect. But for some reason the panel is not visible anywhere.Window, extensions, plug in panel. No where. Any clues ?

Seems like it has a strict requirement "minVersion": "25.2.0". If your Ps is below it - the plugin wont even show up. You can try to edit manifest.json in the plugin folder (with any text editor) and lower that to your current ver like "23.0.0", otherwise - update Ps.

It is the latest PS but I don't have Adobe Cloud or whatever service installed. Is that possibly the reason?

The cloud doesn't matter. Try opening Ps and drag manifest.json from retratone folder right to Ps window like you open images. If plugin loads up this way - there is some folder/path issues; if not - maybe your download is corrupted.

Wow. That's is interesting. I did what you suggested. I drag and drop the three .json files to the PS with nothing opened in PS. And it worked. Than I load an image and it seems to work from what I can see. I haven't tested every single feature but seems to work. But soon as I close Photoshop and open it again. There is no plug in installed. And I have to repeat the process. So at least it works this way. Since you were so kind to help with that. Any clue what could be the cause of preventing it from loading normally? Thank you. I tried several downloads so far and no antivirus or anything to limit it.

Looks like you've messed with folder paths or else. Use this path
C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\Plugins\External\Texturelabs Retratone\(manifest and other stuff goes here)

Edit: unfortunately it didn't work either. Changing the location for where to play the plug in. But I think you might be on to something. Probably something with paths got messed up. I'll have to research some more to try to see what is happening. Probably some leftovers and conflicts. Thank you.

    I just instaled here
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2026\Plug-ins
The plug in Distressor from texture Labs is in the same folder and booth work
Close Photoshop and open again, so Photoshop could start and read the files inside this plugins folder, them go to
    Menu>Plugins
And you will find it there
