The GB is over, I think you guys just have to wait til someone shares it in the future

 

I thought it was Policy here that ALL group buys were to be shared 3 months after they have ended? But since there is a "new policy" of internal group buys these days, How is it going to work in the future a @george

 

The filmverse DCTL GB ended almost 4 months ago but haven't been shared as Gold content so perhaps the rule does not affect the private GB?

Honestly...I love this community. That's why I am sharing in two months or so...

That said, the rule that GB's are shared within 3 months, I thought, only applied to official GB's over $100 and not private ones like ours, and even then, I don't expect them.

I dislike people who have a sense of entitlement.

 

BTW, just a heads-up:
I’m gonna use the Filmverse update to share it (as Gold) like the forum moderator suggested (this was initially a private GB)

Sense of Entitlement? Really? Rules are rules and I am a Big contributor here. Not all of us can go in every group buy, other wise this would be like other paid membership forums.

 

Thanks for reaffirming my thoughts and "concerns". On a side note, Seems there have been several "Shares" or "Group buys" going on between members in "private" chats or groups which I always thought was not allowed. I will try to find the posts that indicate these shares going on but as I understand what happened is, A moderator, cannot remember who, apparently allowed this to go on. Apparently before only a moderator could set up group buys but then they changed that apparently and were allowing people to make group buys in Private chats. I am sure this has happened on several occasions. So it is not clear what or what not is "allowed" and whether those private group buys or shares among members in Private chats needs to also be shared according to the Forum "rules". I do remember clearly that someone posted in the forums that they would purchase a product and then they would divide the cost and pay that forum member an amount based on how many people actually chipped in for his/her purchase. Since it was all through private chats it was never clear what the amount was or who was controlling the amount. It was certainly NOT a Moderator. That I am sure of.

This thread was organized with permission from a moderator, the plug in was purchased by a member months ago but the "group buy" was finished in June. I asked on this thread when it would be available to Gold Members and got no response from anybody. Actually some members suggested it would not be shared bc it was not an "official group buy" ?
But according to the forum rules I imagine it should be shared , if not already, very soon?

I hope you understand that it would be a hassle to put version 1.2 when we are on the verge of having a version 1.3...
