    DESCRIPTION
    Photographing in the studio or on location for your own portfolio is one thing - but photographing for a complete glossy calendar production is something completely different. From the lighting to the make-up, from the location to the outfit, to the equipment, everything is crucial and has to fit perfectly! We would have preferred to photograph some motifs in landscape format, but unfortunately the portrait format of the calendar didn't allow for this. There are also things like that to consider in this production.

    We went with the whole team to various hotels, rental studios and cities to produce the calendar with Verena Stangl - easier said than done. There is a lot of effort and time behind all the final photos and videos.

    The photos were not taken with a conventional camera, but with a medium format camera from PhaseOne with 60 megapixels in order to capture even the smallest detail. All pictures can be taken just as well with any DSLR. We were only concerned with getting the best possible quality for the print.

    Accompany us during the production and the subsequent final image processing.

    The image processing, because it was extremely tedious, was attached to each video as a time lapse. The individual steps are not specifically explained but are relatively easy to understand with the time lapse. Each video has about 3-4 minutes in time lapse at the end.
