Hi, thank you so much for the info. I've downloaded the python as you said and the the pixelu version 2.0.26 but it says that the file is damaged. Is it something else that you would recommend doing? thanks

 

So the python method worked for me with older version on M2 Pro, but its ultra laggy and slow. Any alternative program or cracked smart albums?

Thats why I gave up and bought Fundy Designer v10 at black friday and had the option to update to v11 for free. Its the better option as SmartAlbums is a monthly fee and Fundy is one time payment. I think I got it for like 225$ or something like that

 

Is there any update to that? I bought fundy designer too but unfortunately smart albums was better for me.

 

Your only option is to install Windows on your MAC and use Pixellu SmartAlbums there.

Something about macOS updates that makes older programs not work is frustrating. As opposed to Windows where you can find old apps from the early 2000s and they still work.

 

Mac OS Sequoia 15.2 everything works fine. Software Version 2.0.26 + older Python version (python-2.7.18)

 

I only see an option to lease Fundy (pay monthly or annually), not a one time payment. Maybe it’s region specific? Are you outside the U.S?

 

I manage to run it but unfortunately the export is quite slow on my macbook m3 pro. Also the selection of templates is a bit limited comparing to version 2.2.1 i run on my windows machine.

 

Tough luck I think, I just checked and its only a subscription, I bought it a year ago on black friday for around 200$, maybe you can check on black friday if they offer it, but I remember that before BF there was an option to buy it for 380$

 

The 2.1.13 version could not run on macOS Monterey or later, even I installed Python 2.7.8. Could you please tell me more how to fix ythis problem and make SmartAlbums 2.1.13 can be run on macOS Monterey or later ?

frelancer007 you could try older version works just fine, even on mac OS Tahoe, which is latest version 26 at this moment
