When adding images to your post you can add them as an attachment or directly link to the image on a site. Please do not hotlink images directly to the author site because the author can see that the image is loaded from here. Instead upload them to a site like imgur.com.
There is an add-on installed that automatically converts hotlinked images to attachments. But if your image is bigger than 2 MB it will not be converted to an attachment.
